About Us

This blog follows the engagement (and navigation of the wedding planning process) of Sarah Elizabeth Ingles and Christopher Nicholas St. Pierre, who were engaged on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.

Sarah and Chris met at Capital University Law School during their 1L evening classes. They became friends at school who regularly exchanged jokes back and forth. Chris even learned a Spanish joke to tell Sarah. Eventually, they went out with their law school classmates and found that they really hit it off. 

Sarah and Chris spent many weekends and evenings working on cite check assignments in the law review office and practicing for moot court and mock trial competitions. They were partners in moot court and won the American Bar Association's Regional Competition in Chicago together.

As a couple, Sarah and Chris have constantly pushed each other to be better, more involved students and citizens. They have worked together doing pro-bono legal work, taught together at Fort Hayes High School as part of the Marshall-Brennan fellowship, and like to volunteer at the local homeless shelter and with other local organizations.

Sarah and Chris have traveled together throughout the United States, to Germany, and to Austria. Sarah still needs to get Chris to visit Guanajuato, Mexico. Sarah and Chris both love to experience  new cultures and meet new people. They love spending time with friends and family, sitting around a table playing board games, attending a local concert or sporting event, or hanging around a campfire.

Sarah and Chris are going to be married on August 3rd, 2019 in downtown Columbus, Ohio.
